TAG4Change
We, the youth are taking charge to change inherited harmful norms by collectively working together to foster a culture of respect, equality and action for a violence-free society through event based advocacy.
Mobilizing people between 18 to 24 years with the objective of creating awareness and championing change through event based advocacy to address the root causes of domestic violence such as gender bias and discrimination as well as increase the understanding of gender equity as prevention of domestic violence to build healthy relationships for future generations. The program is designed based on the peer influence model and framework of “normative influence”.

Vision
Mobilising the youth to actively unlearn inherited behaviours and attitudes that enable domestic violence and abuse while fostering respect, empathy and accountability as everyday values where equality is the norm and there is a zero tolerance of violence regardless of any gender.
Mission
Create awareness among youth about the realities of domestic violence to create futures without violence
Empower and encourage youth to take a stand against domestic violence by addressing the related root causes (discrimination, patriarchy, etc)

Souparnika Suresh, Chairperson, TAG4Change
TAG has been the most eye-opening and transformative experience of my journey so far. It challenged the way I perceived silence around domestic violence and made me aware of the subtle patterns that often go unnoticed. Through every session and conversation I’ve gained knowledge, empathy and the confidence to speak up. It has made me more conscious, more informed and more committed to being part of the change.

Sreemaya Nair, Co-Chairperson, TAG4Change
TAG has been one of the most defining experiences of my academic and social journey. It gave me a platform to listen and speak to voices that often go unheard and to perspectives that challenged my own. I gained a deeper understanding of domestic issues surrounding gender based violence and how I can apply my field of study to translate into social impact. More than anything, I walk away with clarity, compassion and a stronger sense of purpose.
